Roadside Assistance
Whether you need a tow-truck after an accident or breakdown, fuel if you’ve run out, a flat tyre to be changed, help with a flat battery or just some safe company to wait with, our Guardian Angels are there to help and keep you safe.
Also included is towing to one of our secure towing destinations after an accident, along with expert collision procedure advice and towing to the nearest dealer after a mechanical/electrical breakdown, if you need it.
If you need help from one of our Guardian Angels, call 0860 10 42 12
If you want to display a Guardian Angels Road Assist disc on your vehicle, you can download a free PDF version here. Simply print it in colour, cut it out, and place it in a disc holder in your car.
Directions Assist is a 24-hour helpline that provides direction guidance if you are travelling within the borders of South Africa. Think of it as a telephonic GPS navigation system, and all it takes is a phone call. Clear directions will be given telephonically while en-route or they can be emailed to you before you begin your journey.
You’re always on the go. And we want to help ensure you get where you’re going, safely. One of the ways we do this is with Trip Monitor. So, whether you’re coming home from a night on the town or returning from that well-deserved holiday, you will be contacted every 30 minutes to check that you are still safely en route. And if that contact is interrupted, a loved one will be informed, and the time and location of your last communication will be shared with them.
A roadside emergency is any sudden, unexpected event away from your home. These are events that require immediate and/or urgent assistance to ensure the safety of your vehicle’s occupants or to limit/minimise or prevent further damage or loss to your vehicle. The Breakdown Assistance service has a maximum annual limit of three call-outs per insured vehicle.
